How Lumecca IPL Works
Lumecca is an advanced intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that stands out for its exceptional power, delivering up to three times more energy in the 500-600nm wavelength range. It emits intense pulses of broad-spectrum light with specific filters to target oxyhaemoglobin (redness) and melanin (pigmentation). These heated chromophores fragment and are cleared by the lymphatic system, while gentle dermal warming triggers fresh collagen for a clearer, more even, and radiant complexion.

Your Guide to a Lumecca Session
Your journey begins with a full consultation, including Fitzpatrick skin typing and lesion mapping, to ensure your suitability for the treatment.
The skin is cleansed and a cooling ultrasound gel is applied. Protective eye shields are worn throughout the treatment for your safety.
The Lumecca device glides over the skin, delivering precise pulses of light. A real-time crystal-cooling handpiece ensures the treatment is comfortable.
We apply SPF 50 and an antioxidant serum to protect the skin. You should avoid heat and active skincare for 48 hours. An optional Celluma LED session can be added to accelerate recovery.
We will take progress photos and schedule your next session. A typical course involves 1-3 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart.
